21- Stratford's Hidden Canal. Stratford to Warwick

Saturday 21st August to Friday 27th August. 6 nights for £575 per berth.

The Stratford canal is a hidden jewel of the Warwickshire countryside. Often forgotten in the attention paid to Stratford and Warwick which we slowly travel between. It has delightful lock flights, iron trough aqueducts, unusual bridges and charming lock cottages all set in the countryside. We then finish the cruise with a short trip on the Grand Union canal giving us a tunnel and a massive flight of broad locks.


Saturday night at Stratford; Sunday Stratford; Monday Wilmcote; Tuesday Lowsonford; Wednesday Knowle; Thursday Warwick.

22 - Warwickshire Circular. A 'One Centre cruise' Warwick to Birmingham and back to Warwick a different way.

Friday 27th August to Friday 3rd September. 7 nights for £665 per berth.

Climb up to Birmingham and come back to Warwick a different way. Over 90 locks. Country and city. A spectacular journey. You have broad locks and narrow locks. You have locks set in the country and locks right under towering city office blocks! You have tunnels wide enough for two boats and tunnels so narrow that we can only just fit through! You have the fantastic waterscape at the heart of Birmingham and isolated country moorings.

    Join the boats in Warwick in time for dinner on Friday, cruise with us up Hatton and Lapworth locks and into the centre of Birmingham before leaving us at teatime on the Monday by taxi back to Warwick.
  • 22B-Short Break Mon. 30th Aug. to Fri. 3rd Sept. 4 nights for £435.
    Be collected by taxi from Warwick to join the boats at Birmingham in time for dinner on the Monday. Travel with us down Farmers bridge, Aston and up Camp Hilll locks under the offices of Birmingham, then cruise out into the country to finish with Knowle and Hatton locks. Leave after Breakfast on the Friday in Warwick..

23- Half a Dozen Tunnels- Nearly one hundred locks. Warwick to Worcester

Wednesday 8th September to Wednesday 15th September 7 nights for £665 per berth.

From the ancient town of Warwick, to the cathedral city of Worcester through the English countryside. Nearly one hundred locks mainly in three tremendous flights, but plenty spread out over the days to keep you amused! Tunnels of all shapes and sixes; broad with a separate tunnel for the horse, short and long. brick lined and rock cut, and even one complete with a ghost! Explore the English countryside slowly so you do not miss any.

Wednesday night at Warwick; Thursday Lapworth; Friday Hockley Heath; Saturday Tardebigge; Sunday Stoke Wharf; Monday Offerton;Tuesday Worcester.

24 - River, cuttings and embankments. Worcester to Market Drayton .

Wednesday 15th September to Wednesday 22nd September. 7 nights for £665 per berth. Now 10% off this cruise only pay £600.

A great mixture. A day on the River Severn with its large keeper operated locks and high river bridges. Then the tiny Staff. and Worcs. canal with all its curiosities. Tunnels under houses, locks in staircases and the canal cut into the side of a cliff. It seems to twist and squeeze its way up the valley. Finally a couple of days on the Shropshire Union passing over high embankments with the tree tops below, and through deep rock cut cuttings lined with trees.

Wednesday night at Worcester; Thursday Stourport; Friday Kinver; Saturday Bratch; Sunday Autherley; Monday Norbury; Tuesday Market Drayton.

25 - Gingerbread Men to Bottle Kilns. Market Drayton to Stoke

Start in the narrow lock flights of the Shropshire Union. Then over the Nantwich embankment and aqueduct onto the broad Cheshire Canal. Across the rural middlewich branch. Up the paired Cheshire locks before finaally plunging through Harecastle Tunnel to Stoke.
