16 - Stratford's Hidden Canal. Stratford to Warwick Saturday 10th July to Friday 16th July. 6 nights for £575 per berth. The Stratford canal is a hidden jewel of the Warwickshire countryside.
Often forgotten in the attention paid to Stratford and Warwick which we
slowly travel between. It has delightful lock flights, iron trough aqueducts,
unusual bridges and charming lock cottages all set in the countryside.
We then finish the cruise with a short trip on the Grand Union canal giving
us a tunnel and a massive flight of broad locks. |
