Cruises 1 to 5.

 

1 - Fascination with locks & Tunnels. Warwick to Birmingham.

Saturday 20th March to Saturday 27th March. 7 nights for £665 per berth.

Cruise with us up to Birmingham exploring the old 'hidden' canals that lie at the feet of the modern city - different fascinating view of the cit!. Spend three days exploring the canals that come into Birmingham from the South West and visit Cadbury World. On the way pass through over 50 locks and half a dozen tunnels.

Saturday night at Warwick; Sunday Knowle; Monday Camp Hill; Tuesday Birmingham; Wednesday Tardebigge; Thursday Bournville; Friday Birmingham;

  • 1A-Short Break Sat. 20th March to Tues. 24th March 3 nights for £345.
    Join us in Warwick for dinner on the Saturday, travel up to Birmingham, leave us when we moor up in the centre of Birmingham at Tuesday teatime in a taxi (included) back to Warwick.
  • 1B-Short Break -Tues. 24th March to Sat 27th March 4 nights for £435.
    Join the boats in Birmingham in time for dinner on the Tuesday. Cruise with us on the summit level of the Worcester and Birmingham canal including a visit to Cadbury's World (included). Leave the boats after Breakfast on the Saturday. (If you wish to use car parking at Warwick we will provide a taxi to pick you up on Tuesday and return you on Saturday.

2 - Busy City to Rural Peace. Birmingham to Nantwich.

Saturday 27th March to Saturday 3rd April. 7 nights for £665 per berth.

The first day we are in the Black Country seeing the canals which brought this area to life. Then we go down the '21', locks which lower us out into the country. We spend the next four days on the Shropshire Union Canal with miles of English Countryside, broken up by isolated former wharfs, delightful lock flights, high embankments and deep rock sided cuttings.

Saturday night at Birmingham; Sunday Wolverhampton; Monday Autherley; Tuesday Norbury; Wednesday Market Drayton; Thursday Audlem; Friday Nantwich.

3 - Into the land of song. Nantwich to Llangollen. Unfortunately this cruise is now fully booked.

Saturday 3rd April to Friday 9th April. 6 nights for £575 per berth.

The Llangollen is justly described as one of the most attractive canals in the UK. We climb up from the Cheshire plains into the mountains of Wales. The lift bridges, tunnels and above all the great aqueducts combine with spectacular scenery.

Saturday night at Nantwich; Sunday Wrenbury; Monday Grindley Brook; Tuesday Ellesmere; Wednesday Chirk; Thursday Llangollen.

> Three short tunnels.

> The 'lakes' of the Ellesmere region.

4 - Spring Beauty. Llangollen to Nantwich and the Montgomery. Unfortunately this cruise is now fully booked.

Friday 9th April to Saturday 17th April. 8 nights for £755 per berth.

The Llangollen is justly described as one of the most attractive canals in the UK. On this cruise we slowly descend from the mountains of Wales to the Cheshire plains, with a visit to the section of the Montgomery canal that has been recently restored.

Friday night at Llangollen; Saturday New Marton; Sunday Queens Head; Monday Frankton; Tuesday Blake Mere; Wednesday Grindley Brook; Thursday Wrenbury; Friday Nantwich.

5 - Cheshire Cheese. A 'One Centre cruise' Nantwich to Ellesmere Port.

Saturday 17th April to Saturday 24th April. 7 nights. £665 per berth.

A cruise with visits. We travel the full length of the Chester Canal from Nantwich to Ellesmere Port and back to Nantwich. We will spend half-days at Ellesmere Port to allow you to explore the Boat Museum, and in Chester to allow you to look around this ancient city.

Saturday night at Nantwich; Sunday Beeston; Monday Chester; Tuesday Ellesmere Port; Wednesday Chester; Thursday Beeston; Friday Nantwich.

    Join us at Nantwich on Saturday in time for dinner. Cruise down the full length of the Chester canal and spend half a day in Ellesmere Port Boat Museum before a taxi takes you back to Nantwich at tea time.
  • 5B-Short Break Tues. 21st April to Sat 24th April 4 nights for £435.
    Be collected by Taxi from Nantwich and brought out to join the boats at Ellesmere Port in time for dinner. Cruise the full length of the Chester canal with a half day in Chester to expolre this fascinating ancient city.
