22 Charm and Grandeur.

Oxford Saturday 23rd August to Warwick Sunday 31st August. Eight nights, £675 per berth

We leave the dreaming spires of Oxford to start slowly up this rural canal. Narrow locks, brick bridges, wooden lift bridges and old wharves add character to this charming rural canal. The last stretch of our journey on the Oxford Canal meanders slowly across the hills of Northamptonshire as if reluctant to leave them. For the last two days we join the broad Grand Union with its wide locks to drop down through the Warwickshire countryside to the historic town of Warwick.

On the evening of Saturday at Oxford; Sunday Shipton Weir; Monday Somerton; Tuesday Banbury; Wednesday Claydon; Thursday Napton; Friday Itchington; Saturday Warwick.

(On this cruise you could stay on the boats for an extra 24 hours to explore the Warwick area for just an extra £70. See extra 24 hours.)
