Leighton Buzzard Saturday 12th July to Brentford, Saturday 19th July. Seven nights, £595 per berth

For much of this cruise the canal passes through the countryside despite the proximity of the outer suburbs of London. Even as we get into Brentford the canal provides a pleasant Green belt. It is a pleasant relaxing trip with broad locks providing exercise or entertainment.

On the evening of Saturday at Leighton Buzzard; Sunday Marsworth; Monday Berkhampstead; Tuesday Hunton Bridge; Wednesday Copper Mill; Thursday Cowley Peach; Friday Brentford.

17 Royalty Galore!

London Saturday 19th July to Kintbury village near Newbury Saturday 26th July. Seven nights, £595 per berth.

We leave the western suburbs of London to travel up the Royal river Thames passing Hampton Court Palace, the Royal castle at Windsor, and the famous regatta site at Henley before joining the River Kennet at Reading. This smaller river provides a quiet journey after the bustle of the Thames.


On the evening of Saturday at Brentford; Sunday Hampton; Monday Windsor; Tuesday Henley; Wednesday Tyle Mill; Thursday Thatcham; Friday Kintbury.

Kintbury village near Newbury Saturday 26th July to Bath, Saturday 2nd August. Seven nights, £595 per berth.

The Kennet & Avon canal travels slowly though the Wiltshire Countryside. Broad locks at regular intervals take us up to the summit level beside the steam pump house. After the summit pounds comes the spectacular flight of 29 broad locks at Caen Hill, Devizes. Passing the unique water powered pump house we finish the cruise by going down to moor in the centre of the Georgian city of Bath.

On the evening of Saturday at Kintbury; Sunday Great Bedwyn; Monday Wootton Rivers; Tuesday Devizes; Wednesday Sells Green; Thursday Bradford; Friday Bath.

19 The Bristol River Avon.

Bath Saturday 2nd August to Bristol and back to Bath Thursday 7th August. Five nights, £595 per berth.
The River Avon connects the city of Bath with the sea at the port of Bristol. Half of its length is tidal. On this short cruise which starts and ends in Bath we will go down the Avon to moor overnight at the docks in Bristol.

On the evening of Saturday at Bath; Sunday Hanham; Monday Bristol; Tuesday Hamham; Wednesday Bath.
