Whaley Bridge Monday 7th April to Nantwich Monday 14th April. Seven nights, £595 per berth.

Join us at the historic Buxworth basin. We first travel along a valley side before the scenery opens out. For two days moor land rises high above us on one side with views across the Cheshire plain on the other. After the scenic locks at Bosley and a canal 'flyover' we join the Trent & Mersey canal descending the paired locks of heartbreak hill to Middlewich. On our final day we are in country so rural that cows out number people!

On the evening of Monday at Whaley Bridge; Tuesday Bollington; Wednesday bottom of Bosley locks; Thursday Church Lawton; Friday Malins Bank; Saturday Middlewich; Sunday Nantwich.

5 Cheshire Cheese to Chester.

Nantwich Monday 14th April to Chester Friday 18th April. Four nights, £355 per berth.

One of the earliest canals, the broad Chester canal was built to transport Cheshire cheese to Chester. Now it provides us with two quiet country days before our final spectacular approach to the walled city of Chester.

On the evening of Monday at Nantwich; Tuesday Beeston; Wednesday Christelton; Thursday Chester.

6 A quiet week in!

Chester Friday 18th April to Norbury Junction Friday 25th April. Seven nights, £595 per berth.

Starting below the medieval walls of Chester we climb into the Cheshire countryside to slowly meander to the delightful market town of Nantwich. We then follow the isolated Shropshire Union Canal, climbing up lock flights, crossing high embankments and plunging through deep cuttings.

On the evening of Friday at Chester; Saturday Chistelton; Sunday Beeston; Monday Nantwich; Tuesday Audlem; Wednesday Market Drayton; Thursday Norbury Junction.

7 A week of contrasts. Rural Shropshire, the Black Country and Warwickshire's locks.

Norbury Junction Friday 25th April to Warwick Friday 2nd May, Seven nights, £595 per berth.

A cruise which shows the variety of the English canals in one week. Starting in the rural isolation of the Shropshire countryside, we climb up 21 locks to get to the heart of the Black Country. Then we see the secret world of city canals as we thread through the heartland of the industrial revolution. We finish with a slice of Warwickshire countryside including the famous Hatton 21 broad locks. There are even four short tunnels!

On the evening of Friday at Norbury Junction; Saturday Autherley Junction; Sunday Wolverhampton; Monday Birmingham; Tuesday Catherine de Barnes; Wednesday Kingswood; Thursday Warwick.
