The Grand Union canal from Warwick to Tardebbige Wharf Saturday 29th December to Wednesday 2nd January. £425 per berth. See the new year in afloat in our centrally heated boats sitting beside

Warwick Thursday 20th March to Coventry tea-time on Monday 24th March (or after Breakfast Tuesday 26th March.) Four (or five) nights, £355 (or £435) per berth. For the first two days we climb up the broad locks of the Grand Union canal through the Warwickshire countryside to the canal centre of Braunston. Here we pause to let those who wish go to an Easter service. We continue along the Northern Oxford canal slipping quietly through the outskirts of Rugby but mainly in the countryside. For our final half day we follow the sculpture trail as we wind our way right into the heart of the city of Coventry. Coventry Tuesday 25th March to Stone Tuesday 1st April. Seven nights, £595 per berth. We start on the Coventry canal as it slips quietly out of the city and slides past the former North Warwickshire coalfield, now green open spaces. We travel the full length of the Coventry canal, down Atherstone and Tamworth locks to moor opposite the Swan at Fradley. The final two days we use a rural section of the Trent and Mersey canal to finish at the Market town of Stone. Tuesday 1st April Stone to Whaley Bridge Monday 7th April. Six nights, £515 per berth. From Stone we climb up to Stoke on Trent pausing for a short visit to the Wedgewood works at Barlaston. Harecastle tunnel, one of the longest and lowest on the system, takes us to the Macclesfield canal which with the help of aqueducts, embankments and one beautifully set flight of locks carries us along the edge of the hills of the Peak forest. Moor-land high above us on one side and views across the Cheshire plain on the other. Finally following the side of a valley we moor in the historic basin of Buxworth. On the evening of Tuesday at Stone; Wednesday Barlaston; Thursday Westport Lake; Friday bottom of Bosley locks; Saturday Bollington; Sunday Whaley Bridge.
