Limehouse cut.
Limehouse cut is a two mile canal running from Limehouse docks through Tower Hamlets to join the Lee Navigation at Three Mills Bridge. It was constructed to enable craft to avoid having to go out onto the Thames through Bow Creek and back into Limehouse. It used to be semi tidal but now is fully canalised. For most of its length it is straight and has no locks
