Pictures of the Grand Union Canal,
the Digbeth branch.
This short connecting stretch of canal has a charm all of it's own. It is inner city canal but it has it's own lock flight, a very low and narrow tunnel immediately by the gate of a lock! It has a range of old warehouses, some very effectively restored, which marked the Birmingham end of the Grand Union canal. Do not travel on it expecting green fields! but do expect to be intrigued by it.
