Pictures of the Gloucester & Sharpness ship Canal at Gloucester historic docks.

The historic docks is a truly memorable place to moor. Most of the old warehouse have survived. Boats in the docks range from tiny Fiberglas cruises to ocean going tall ships. There is always activity to watch, perhaps a steam tug giving practice to new skippers or the two Decker trip boats from the museum collecting passengers. Gloucester city with it's cathedral and its shops is just ten minutes walk away if you want variety, while at the docks themselves there are two fine museums.
