A Scrap Book of the building of Oak & Ash.
Fitting out of 'Ash'.

April 6th, with Ash on dry ground we take advantage of Easter holidays to get all the family up to Baunston for some painting.

April 14th, The batons which will secure the lining are fixed in place. All the windows are covered with paper, and the men arrive to spray foam over the inside of the boat to provide a layer of insulation. |
|
|
|
|
April 16th, work now starts on fitting out the boat. First the electric cables are fitted so that they will be hidden by the wood lining. The fit out now follows the course of that done on Oak. However as I was now occupied with the final work on Oak, there are unfortunately no more pictures of Ash. |
